The Limón Dance Company presents Migrant Mother, a choreography by Raúl Tamez, the first created by a Mexican choreographer since José Limón, at the Newman Center in Denver. This powerful and evocative piece explores themes of symbolic domination, colonization, and creolization, paying homage to the majesty of pre-Hispanic heritage in Mesoamerica. Don’t miss this extraordinary celebration of the resilience and beauty of indigenous cultures.
