Olivia Mozie (she/her)
Olivia Mozie, born in Greenville, SC began dancing at the age of four at the School of Carolina Ballet Theatre, English Theater Arts, and the FineArts Center. Beginning her sophomore year of highschool, she furthered her studies at The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, studying under Josée Garant, Miriam Mesa-Pelly, and Tracy Vogt. Graduating in May 2024, Olivia attended Boston Conservatory at Berklee, as a merit scholar, pursuing a B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance Performance, under Kurt Douglas, Brian McGinnis, and Ruka Hatua-Saar White. While at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, she has performed reworked pieces on the mainstage including: An excerpt of José Limón’s “Primavera,” restaged by Kurt Douglas, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar’s “Shelter,” restaged by Maria Bauman, “Constant Shift of Pulse,” by Doug Varone, and an original work by Thang Dao. Olivia joined the Limón Company in January 2024.
